A TED talk by Manu Prakash motivated young Mohammed Suhail, to develop a ‘Non-Invasive Protein Estimation Technique with Paper’. In this talk he explains how he developed this painless test based on taking spit on a piece of paper for detection of protein energy malnutrition, which costs INR 2 and takes less than 2 minutes.
