The willingness to learn is the essential driver of education. How can we awaken the desire to learn in our kids, then? Melina Furman, educator and mum, tell us how the conversations we have at home can give our kids a present that they'll enjoy through all of their lives. Share this talk with all the mums and dads you know. Meli is a biologist (Universidad de Buenos Aires) and has a PhD in Education from Columbia University. She is professor in Universidad de San Andrés and a researcher at the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas of Argentina in the Education field. She researches how to shape curious minds and promote critical thinking, from preschool to adulthood. She's co founder of Expedición Ciencia and El Mundo de las Ideas. She coordinates the Educational Innovators program at CIPPEC. She wrote and hosted the kids TV show "La casa de la ciencia" (Paka Paka). Her latest book is "Educar mentes curiosas."
