MeiMei White is a 16-year-old above-knee amputee. A member of the US Paralympic National Swim Team since she was 14, she is training hard every day to reach her Paralympic goals. In this refreshingly candid talk, she shares with you her story of growing up being viewed as an ‘inspiration’ for what she feels are all the wrong reasons, and how she coaches up everyone she meets to raise their expectations of what she can do. Because if she can reach her goals - to become one of the top swimmers in the country and ultimately in the world – that really will be inspiring.
