At our core as humans we all share this commonality: We all long to be seen, heard, and valued. As rudimentary as it may seen, in this talk, we are challenged to remember that our similarities are stronger than the things that separate us. Compassion has nothing to do with your political party, religion, or sexual orientation. Compassion is a by-product of being a human connected to the whole of humanity. When we overcomplicate this, we forget that achieving a more perfect world where everyone is valued, is not as hard as we’ve made it out to be. By taking a more humanistic approach to the Diversity conversation, we can become a more inclusive world. We can become A Tribe Called Us.
