Pathogens are continually evolving; our tools to fight them must evolve too. Robots present novel opportunities to respond to the changing infection environment, a vast improvement over simple disinfectant practices. This talk exposes the weaknesses of current methods and introduces technology that currently exists to minimize virus and bacterial transmission in sensitive hospital environments.
