Mariana Perroni is a doctor who believes that health will be transformed through a better analysis of our data by the use of artificial intelligence. In this talk, she brings real examples of how this can contribute to increasingly proactive, personalized, precise and even more humane medicine. She is an intensive care doctor and a great enthusiast of greater integration between technology and health.
Mariana is the medical coordinator of the "Healthcare Transformation" area at IBM, where she is responsible for exploring and supporting the development of strategies involving technology as a vector for transforming health and medicine, helping to solve chronic challenges in the sector. She was the medical coordinator of the Watson Health unit in Latin America, where she was responsible for the projects of application of artificial intelligence in oncology and genomics, in order to empower clinical decisions, optimize processes and promote scientific teaching and research. She is a mentor to startups, blogs, is a volunteer doctor in natural disasters, and has provided advice on health innovation and health content development online since 2011 for medical associations, hospitals, multinationals and companies doing research and trend analysis. She is often invited to lecture on innovation and futurism.
