Lisa Lee believes in each person’s ability to make a difference in his or her world, and is convinced that we are created to make life better for other people. In this talk she discusses the challenge of being visible as we age and how we can change the stereotype that comes with aging.
Lisa is a passionate, award-winning 31-year teaching veteran, and she plans to teach for at least 31 more. She currently co-facilitates the Gifted and Talented Center at Wheat Ridge High School.
Originally from Georgia, Lisa bleeds Bulldawg red and black, but now considers Colorado to be her forever state. Lisa lives in Littleton with her wife, Cyndy, their 7 year old grandtwins, and her perfect dog, Rosa Barks. At any given time you are likely to find her gardening, hiking, doing cool DIY projects, listening to John Denver, and twin-wrangling.
