New technology affects art, and art defines how we understand and interact with technology. In collaboration with the e-David painting robot project at the University of Konstanz, Grayver explores novel approaches to integrate robotic and computer languages in the process of painting and creative image-making. From her work with these new methods, Grayver reflects on how the tools that we use influence our thinking.
As a Berlin-based cross-disciplinary painter and media artist, Liat's work investigates methods to redefine painting within the current technology-based era. She holds a doctoral degree in media art and an MFA in painting and printmaking from the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig, Germany. Since January 2016, Liat has been collaborating with the University of Konstanz on the e-David project.
