When you find yourself simply just another number in your organisation, what do you do?
When you keep your head down, and work hard, believing that you will be noticed, be recognised, for your efforts. Only to discover that you are virtually invisible in your organisation. No-one knows your strengths and capabilities and as such you are overlooked for the promotion and pay-rise. How could you be visible, build a strong reputation, be top of mind to those that matter, and be remembered for all the right reasons?
Personal Brand Consultant, Leadership Coach, Mentor and Author Leila Singh talks at #TEDxAinleyTopWomen, on the subject of Personal Branding, “From Invisible to Visible – Why hard work is never enough”.
The three steps that Leila presents, in parallel to hard work, are imperative to achieving visibility, influence, recognition and a strong reputation within your workplace. Today Leila draws on her wealth of experience from 25 years in a corporate career, to create a simple formula that helps you establish your personal brand, and ultimately achieve your infinite potential.
This talk was given at a TEDxWomen event with the theme ‘Bold & Brilliant’ using the TED conference format but independently organised by Cheryl Chapman.
