Dr. Tarra Ellis is an Assistant Professor of Education at Wingate University and an alumna of UNC-Chapel Hill. She holds an M.Ed. in Middle and Secondary Education and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Urban Education. She speaks about closing the opportunity gap in the education system and making schools more equitable.
