Emily Neville is a student at North Carolina State University, a business owner, an innovator, and a Linden, NC, native. As a lifelong seamstress, Emily founded Reborn Clothing Co. in 2017 to help divert textile waste from landfills and to give consumers an upcycling option for their garments. Reborn helps individuals and companies repurpose abandoned apparel into products like pillows, throw blankets, customizable garments, computer sleeves, and travel bags. In her talk, Emily discusses the flow of materials and resources through the textile industry and through our lives.
