Battling the Toxic Male Nerd Culture

There shouldn’t be a reason women have to prove they’re a nerd or a geek, when most men say they’re nerds it’s met with acceptance. When a woman says they’re a nerd it’s often met with backlash of toxic male nerd culture. Where the toxic male nerd culture doesn’t believe women can like nerdy things, or don’t possess even knowledge to call themselves a nerd. It’s like women are only there for a guy to hit on, or the silly woman doesn’t know what they’re doing in a nerdy setting. They can fight me all they want. I’m nerd and proud of it.
