Founder & Creative Head of Soul Works - a bohemian home decor and fashion brand, Karima Dawoodani takes a niche product like dreamcatchers to a whole new innovative style integrating sacred charms from across the world. This creative endeavor has led Ms. Dawoodani to win the Times of India Women Entrepreneur of the Year 2020 for creating & leading an army of 40 women from NGOs to weave, empower and heal through this meditative craft. Breaking free from traditional career choices, she studied Interior Designing &
worked in mainstream Bollywood movies like Ayesha and Mere Brother ki Dulhan and several ad films and documentaries as a prop master / set dresser / art director until she decided to give it all up.
To seek the deeper truth of life in this competitive world, she specialized in hypnotherapy, life coaching, tarot, Vipassana mediations, Osho programs, Reiki all the while adopting the practice of ‘Conscious Art’.
