Kalben, who is known for her original music, tells us about the events that broke her hopes since her childhood and how she actually gets away with the music that comes in every moment of her life. Thanks to the music, the good people she knows, the new stories she listens to; Kalben says now: the one thing that gives her the greatest hope, believing that nature, people and dreams are one. Kalben emphasized that the best thing for the future is hope, and that we should talk about hope and feel the feelings that we forgot about us. Kalben started playing guitar at the age of 8, her mother's guitar. She had her first guitar when she was 14 years old. At the age of 17 she entered Bilkent University International Relations Department. In 2007, she graduated from the same university, Graphic Design Department. After writing a thesis on the ways of hiding the memory and relics, she moved to Istanbul. After working as a brand manager at Universal Pictures, she was involved in a variety of jobs including scriptwriting, editing, project management, writing and translation. She had concerts in Ankara and Istanbul with longing and rarely. On October 18, 2014, Sofar Sounds's 'Sadece' video from a concert in Galata soon became the most popular video of Sofar's videos. She started her musical career after publishing the children's novel series named Lulu. She starred in the series "Aşk Kaç Beden Giyer?". Her debut album, Kalben, was released in February 2016.
This speech was held in the TED conference format at the TEDx event organized by an independent local community.
