Why, in the modern information age, when we have so much information readily accessible and at our fingertips, does there seem to be such massive disagreement on what is true and what is false? Justin Lewis-Weber argues that instead of being a difference in information, different social groups have different definitions for what a fact even is. These different, and oftentimes inconsistently applied burdens of proof, distract from the only true way of determining fact from fiction: the scientific method.
