A lawyer ... in space? Of course; otherwise, who do you call regarding the rights over extraterrestrial worlds, or when problems arise from space junk, or in the case of an eventual satellite crash? Law has taken off from the Earth and looks up: that is where Juan Cruz González Allonca--one of the first space lawyers we managed to get--directs his studies and research. What will lawyers do in the next ten years? Space law and new technologies, for sure! Juan Cruz is a member of the Coordination Council of NETmundial Initiative and the Latin American Association of Aeronautical and Space Law (ALADA). He was National Director of Protection of Personal Data of Argentina and founded DerechoEspacial.org. He teaches and researches at the National University of La Matanza.
