Busyness is fashionable, we wear busy like a badge of honour.
It means we’re needed, valuable and productive. This attachment to busy has become a marker of our self-worth and we cling to it.
High achievers have this drive to do more or better, the need to prove ourselves. What ever we achieve, it’s never quite enough. We are smashing glass ceilings, raising families and still making sure we look and feel great – yet we don’t. We feel exhausted, anxious, overwhelmed and overscheduled.
It’s this superwoman complex that sets us up to fail. We want to do it all and of course we want to do it all perfectly, and when we can’t we feel like we’ve failed.
Learn how to be your best without burning out in the process. Overcome Imposter Syndrome to stand in your power and let go of trying to be superwoman because you are enough as you are.
Build confidence in who you are and what you have to offer, know your strengths, celebrate your successes and turn the volume down on self-doubt. Let go of perfect because it sets us up to fail. It’s not that we need to do more but that we need to appreciate how amazing we already are.
