A novel development in the world of human reproduction has made worldwide headlines: the transplantation of the human uterus. As many as 3-5 per 1000 women are born without a uterus and dozens more lose their uterus during reproductive years. Uterus transplantation has only recently become possible, but the process is riddled with ethical concerns. Jacques shares with us his experience with developing and publishing a set of ethical criteria that have now become an international standard.
