Cuando la guerra entre Irán e Israel parecía inminente. El diseñador gráfico israelí Ronny Edry publicó un cartel en Facebook de sí mismo y su hija con un sencillo mensaje: "iraníes, los amamos". Rápidamente, otros israelíes crearon sus propios carteles con el mismo mensaje, y los iraníes respondieron del mismo modo. Ese sencillo acto de comunicación dio pie a comunidades sorprendentes de Facebook como "Israel ama a Irán", "Irán ama a Israel", e incluso "Palestina ama a Israel".
