Remember This Moment: Use Memory to Build Confidence
Let’s close the confidence gap by building a powerful memory. Memory shows us who we were, who were are, and who we can be in the future. We can apply principles of neuroscience research to build a robust, powerful memory network that helps us conquer small and large goals. By building a powerful memory, we can close the confidence gap between women and men and move forward with courage, determination, and tenacity. About Heather: Heather is a cognitive neuroscientist passionate about communicating the impact of brain science on everyday life to the public. Heather earned her Ph.D. in Psychological and Brain Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara, then completed five-years of postdoctoral fellowship work in structural and functional correlates of the brain using MRI technologies at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and the Medical University of South Carolina. Heather had published 20+ scientific publications in academic journals as well as popular press articles on applying cognitive neuroscience to everyday life. Heather lives, eats, and breathes psychological and brain research. Our taxes contribute to the billions of dollars spent annually on scientific research, yet most people do not have access to this research or understand how it can impact their lives. Heather uses her expertise to make cognitive neuroscience research interesting, exciting, and actionable to all.
