When the bombs began falling on Pearl Harbor during WWII, President Roosevelt ordered for people of Japanese ancestry, many of whom were American citizens, to be arrested and sent to internment camps across the US. Librarians Hayley Johnson and Sarah Simms are uncovering historical documents that help to illuminate long-forgotten but important stories of incarcerated individuals.
