What is the real value of numbers? Geeke encourages us to look at numbers and data with a critical mathematical mindset. She lets us think about their real values by showing how numbers represent choices rather than objective truths. She ends her talk with some practical suggestions on how to start to think more critical mathematically using the ideas of ‘definition of success’ and ‘pain of the error’.
