I stand here now healthy and happy, and i want to show the world that drink and "the sesh" is not the route to happiness, nor will it save you from sorrow. We need to talk. I heard a great quote recently, "We're a nation of partying and pretending that everything's ok", it's time to stop pretending. One of the things that really struck me when I returned to Ireland was how uncomfortable people were around serious topics, talking about real issues. Everyone has them, but we pretend we don't. "How are you?" is interchangeable with "Hello", instead of looking for solutions, we ignore the problems. If like to talk about our relationship with alcohol, our relationship with depression, and our relationships with each other.
