To change the paradigm, we have to change our language
Elaine Bennett • TEDxBayRidgeWomen
We can't get where we want to go using the language that's served to oppress us. Women and marginalized people—people of color, LGBTQ people—must take the lead in developing this new language and articulating the new paradigm. And we must do what the shapers of the current paradigm have not done—include everyone, get everyone (as many "everyones" as possible) to buy into the new way of thinking and talking.
