There are many ways to tell the story of a people. Putting Black people front and center, Daniele shows revealing cartography of Porto Alegre's Black territories. A scroll through streets and stories that with time were slowly transformed and forgotten, but stay alive within the memory of the people who helped build this city.
Daniele has a doctorate degree in Geography from UFRGS, and is a teacher and researcher of Porto Alegre's old Black territories. In 2019, she received two national awards for her masters dissertation about the old Black territories in Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil.
