Dakxin Chhara comes from a de-notified tribe in Ahmedabad, in western India. For the tribe, it has always been difficult to get the treatment they deserve since they have always been regarded as ‘criminals’. Chhara shares his experiences on how he helped the tribe members get a basic income and permanent homes with the help of theater.
