Artificial Intelligence and dark matter | Cora Dvorkin | TEDxRiodelaPlata
Cora Dvorkin |
TEDxRiodelaPlata
• November 2020
How can we understand more about dark matter? In his talk, Cora explains how they're using artificial intelligence to learn about something that's there even if we don't see it. She graduated in Physics from the University of Buenos Aires and holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Chicago. She studies the physics of the early universe, the particle nature of dark matter, neutrinos, and other light particles that may have existed in the early moments after the Big Bang, some 14 billion years ago. Since 2015, she has been a professor in the Department of Physics at Harvard University. Cora won several scholarships from NASA, the Department of Energy and the U.S. National Science Foundation.
