Colin Whaley is a medical student at McMaster University, health science researcher, community leader, experienced teacher and public speaker. Colin graduated from the University of Waterloo with a BSc in 2018, and MSc(Pharm) in 2020. During undergrad, Colin co-founded the enTECH Computer Club in 2015, which helps older adults, cancer patients and new Canadians in the Waterloo Region learn how to use technology to keep in contact with their families and their communities. Throughout this time, over 150 enTECH volunteers have spent 2000+ hours directly helping people in our community, and contributing to the free tech education resources we have on our website. EnTECH volunteers continue to provide services in the community during the COVID-19 pandemic through a phone- and email-based service, to help people stay connected despite the challenges our society faces.
