Coleman is the executive director of the Micah 6 Community, a community development nonprofit in Pontiac, Michigan. He is involved in urban and community development, political campaigns and other grassroots efforts. He has spearheaded local community gardens and partnered with other local farmers to source SPROUT, a food store that supplies healthy food options in a neighborhood where that hasn't been available for decades.
