Christoph Mays talk discusses the power of male fantasies, and how we can break free of them. With the American film industry as example, he shows how forceful these stories are, and how quickly they become widespread. His aim is to examine masculinity critically. Christoph May founded the 'Institute for Studies of Masculinity' in 2016. Through talks and workshops, he addresses start-up masculinity and radicalisation, alongside verbal abuse and misogyny. He writes a blog and is currently working on his PhD, "Graffiti - Of Men and Walls".
