Quel est l’impact de cette réalité unique sur la santé mentale de ceux qui prennent soins des animaux? Les frais vétérinaires sont-ils réellement exorbitants comparés à ceux de nos systèmes de santé? L’assurance santé animale peut-être une solution à ces enjeux touchant autant les équipes vétérinaires que les propriétaires d’animaux.
Céline Leheurteux a décidé d’être vétérinaire à l’âge de 8 ans et soigne les chats et les chiens depuis 1999. Ne supportant plus de mettre des animaux décédés dans des sacs poubelle, elle a créé EUTHABAG, une housse mortuaire pour animaux maintenant utilisée à travers le monde. Elle a développé de la formation et des outils afin d’améliorer l’expérience de l’euthanasie pour tous ceux impliqués : autant la famille, l’animal que les équipes vétérinaires.

Celine Leheurteux decided to be a veterinarian at the age of 8 and has been treating pets since 1999. Unable to find a dignified alternative to the garbage bag used for the disposal of deceased animals, she developed EUTHABAG, a pet body bag, now used all over the world. She provides training and tools to veterinary teams to improve the euthanasia experience for everyone involved: the family, the animal, and veterinary professionals.
