Bea Wray:
The best business schools provide great learning environments. But often it's the family that provides the most important of all life's lessons. For women taking a break from the business world to raise a family, perhaps your "break" is making you even more valuable to your future employer. That's what this Talk is about.
Bea is the Co-Founder of Millennial Women Network, and authored What Harvard Taught Me But My Kids Made Me Learn.
A serial entrepreneur, Bea is founder, mentor, investor, and board member to several companies, and was previously the Executive Director of Savannah’s non-profit The Creative Coast and Chair of ForbesBooks Entrepreneurship Practice Group.
She holds an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emory University majoring in Psychology and Political Science.
Bea’s six year “break” on Daufuskie Island raising three children taught her that parenting is a breakthrough, not a break, from a career.
