Combating weapons of mass destruction around the world is not an entirely cut and dried job. Andrew Weber, former Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear, Chemical, and Biological Defense Programs faced this task for nearly five years. Despite having over ten years of field experience around the world as a foreign service officer before this role, Weber's work as a senior civilian military leader representing U.S. nuclear, chemical, and biological interests was defined by uncertainty, and he now shares with us some of his discoveries.
