在遠洋漁船上工作的 Supriyanto，46 歲來台灣，在漁船上常常需面臨三天三夜不能睡覺的艱難狀況，如此高壓、高工時的環境，對邁入中年的他來說身體非常難負荷；再加上雇主時不時賞巴掌、用魚鉤毆打的霸凌行為，Supriyanto漸漸瘦成皮包骨，有一天，突然暴斃死亡。
成立全台第一個漁工工會的人權工作者李麗華深切地說：「這些例子絕不是特殊案例，這只是冰山的一角。」在高產值的漁業背後，這些「隱形勞工」值得你我更重視。
Since 2013, Allison has committed herself to upholding the rights of migrant fishermen working in Taiwan. In this heart-breaking talk, she shares the story of two foreign workers who had endured abuse and neglect while working on Taiwan's fishing fleet, and hopes to address this systemic problem in the largely unregulated fishing industry.
