In addiction and recovery, what does it mean to have hope? Presenter Alfred Clapp says, "I went from being alone to having relationships with other addicts and with those in the world around me. I was no longer afraid. Each day I make a choice: do I wish to be alone or do I wish to be a part of the world bigger than my total self-centeredness? You either are me, know me, or your life has been affected by me without your permission. Your love may be the only thing that will keep me alive!”
Alfred Clapp is a son and a brother. He became an addict. He found recovery and became a husband, a foster parent and a father.
