Adam Lewis is a social entrepreneur focused on ending homelessness in Portland, Oregon. He is the founder and currently serves as the managing director of Street Soccer USA-Portland. His nonprofit uses the power of soccer to help homeless, refugee, and underserved communities discover their strengths, connect to social service agencies and take positive steps forward in their lives.
This talk was delivered on June 9, 2019 at the first-ever TEDxYouth@Camas event. The 2019 event theme - Seeing the Invisible - focused on bringing attention to the ideas, stories, and communities that are often overlooked in life. Learn more about TEDxYouth@Camas at https://tedxcamas.weebly.com/.
