Kakenya Ntaiya membuat perjanjian dengan ayahnya: Dia akan menjalani ritual tradisional Maasai untuk disunat hanya jika dia dibolehkan melanjutkan sekolahnya. Ntaiya bercerita tentang tekadnya untuk lanjut ke sekolah tinggi, dan bekerja dengan para orangtua di desa untuk membangun sekolah untuk anak-anak perempuan di komunitasnya.
