About this event

TEDxTerry Talks is a TEDx event whereby UBC students are given the platform to share their passions. Talks ranged from deaf culture in Uganda, to gravitational waves, to the benefits of taking 7 years to complete your degree, to the power of words (good and bad) in sexual violence, and to a heartfelt exploration of self compassion. In the end, our ten speakers provided a wonderful day of intrigue, insight, and inspiration.
