Eric Bunch, Director of Education at BikeWalkKC, manages bicycle and pedestrian educational programming and the operations of Kansas City B-Cycle, the city’s public bike share system. Eric also is leading an effort to make KC Public Schools
more walkable and bikeable. He and his small family call Midtown KC home.
Mona Lyne is an associate professor and chair in the Political
Science department at UMKC. She specializes in comparative
politics and international relations. With her engaging personality, Mona challenges and inspires her students to think innovatively about current events.
Anton Kotar has worked in the commercial construction industry since 1981. After opening his own construction company,
he saw the value in resources which were being wasted. After
creating Grinders in the Crossroads in 2003, he understood the
necessity of recycling. In October 2012, he opened his restaurant, Anton’s Taproom, which is dedicated to sustainability and
a locally sourced experience. Although his restaurant has been open for less than a year, NY Times claims Anton provides arguably the finest steak in the region.

service e-consultancy firm in Kansas City. He leads social media
engagements for both mid-sized businesses to global brands,
including Hallmark, Lee Jeans, and Hyatt. He speaks at numerous conferences across the country and has had his work published in notable outlets such as Mashable and TechCrunch.

William Black is an associate professor of economics and law
at UMKC. He has held many prestigious positions, including
executive director for Fraud Prevention. He recently helped the
World Bank develop anti-corruption initiatives and served as
an expert for OFHEO in its enforcement action against Fannie Mae’s former senior management.He is a criminologist and former financial regulator.
Phil Borges, filmmaker and photographer, has been documenting indigenous and tribal cultures for over 25 years. His work
is exhibited in museums and galleries worldwide and his award winning books have been published in four languages. Phil’s
recent project, Inner Worlds, explores cultural differences with respect to consciousness and mental illness.
Joyce Layman is the founder of Mind By Design. She is
a keynote speaker with a passion for helping audiences to overcome their greatest obstacle - the four inches between their ears. Joyce currently serves as the President of the National Speakers Association, Kansas City chapter.
Omar Holmon is a Rutgers graduate, a 4 time grand slam champion [Urbana, Nuyorican Poet's Cafe, and Loserslam Grandslam,(twice)] and the only man alive to punch
