Francisco Polo
Founder of Actuable.es and Change.org Spain Country Director, the world’s largest petition platform. On September 2010, he launched Actuable, what has been the fastest-growing platform ever with more than 2.5 million users in less than one year and a half. He coordinated a chapter of International Amnesty when he was 20 years old and was the leader of “Say No to cluster bombs” campaign in Spain. Luis Rubio
Luis M. Rubio is Associate Professor at the Center for Plant Genomics and Biotechnology of Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). He is principal investigator of a project to generate nitrogen-fixing cereal crops, funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and a project focused on biological hydrogen production, funded by a Starting Grant from the European Research Council.
