The purpose of TEDxCollegeoftheCanyons is to reach a new level of human well-being worldwide by challenging everyone to start bringing into existence new approaches and methods in connectivity, allowing for the increase of efficient elaboration and distribution of our information and knowledge. We encourage the promotion of finding new concepts with the goal of seeing growth within the potential of every individual within our local community. Through the power of our understanding of empathy and the limitless nature of technology, greater communication and collaboration can be achieved, furthering the spread of ideas. Within the community we create a new web of connection with the intention of expanding that web beyond our city's barriers to reach out towards more minds, more people, thereby redefining what it means to be a local community. In our vision for a modernistic technique striving for an interconnected human network, a local community will become worldwide, allowing the opportunity for the understanding of feelings, thoughts, and attitudes of others, assisting in understanding indifference and bridging gaps that keep the human race from unification. This will ultimately help improve the well-being of people across the globe.
