TEDxkids@Akure is centered on this year’s global theme – “Dream Big… Then Do It”. The inspiration for our theme was gotten from the tabula rasa principle that proposes that humans mind at birth and the early stages of growth is plain and without form and that whatever is first impressed on such a mind stays on for a very long time if not forever. This first impression is also believed to have an effect on the other things that individual does either directly or indirectly – innate nature. Little wonder it is said that first impression lasts longer.
