Jennifer Lasher Breen exudes a deep passion and appreciation for everything. She is enthusiastic, light-hearted and engaged. As a child, Jen remembers watching her mom practice yoga and wanting to participate, which led to her own practice. She now lives on Bainbridge Island, in Washington with her husband and four children where she successful owns and operates the Bainbridge Yoga House.
Thumbs Up! is a Destination ImagiNation team managed by Judy Levine and Payten Marshall. The six team members are Aila, Claire, Jessie, Kaylie, Micah, and Tova. They are a teen improv troupe extraordinaire. In 2011/2012, they represented Washington State in the News to Me! Improv Challenge at the Destination ImagiNation Global Finals Tournament in Knoxville, TN.
Author of 'The Little Book of Wholeness and Prayer,' 'How We Are Called,' 'Children of the Reckoning: Firewall,' and 'At Matthew’s Knee: A poetic commentary on the Gospel of Matthew,' Kimberly Beyer-Nelson is an integrative health specialist who holds a master's degree in comparative religion and a graduate certificate in holistic healthcare. She is a certified yoga therapist, Reiki practitioner, contemplative retreat leader and spiritual director. She also spins natural fibers, weaves on a rigid heddle loom, reads and spends time with her dressage horses.
