Theme: START SMALL

"Start Small", a philosophy seemingly simple but laden with values, has been chosen as the theme for TEDxFPTUniversityHCMC 2024. "Start Small" carries the meaning that it is not necessary to do everything at once because small actions, though small, contribute to helping us get closer to our big goals or in other words, "Big Things Start Small" (Joe M. Easterling). Because the distance between the current situation and the destination is infinite, start with the first brick, the first puzzle piece, to pave the way for the next step, and then the next steps, and who knows what meaningful and significant things we will discover.

The theme "Start Small" means breaking down big goals into small tasks within reach and creating motivation to continue without losing heart, making every goal easy and achievable. Like a "Mantra" to start any new habit by making a small difference, "Start Small" sparks change and accumulates gradually to become a major breakthrough while preventing procrastination and the fear of starting new challenges.

TEDxFPTUniversityHCMC 2024 promises to bring to its beloved audience the presence of knowledgeable, experienced speakers, along with a talented lineup of guest performers. TEDxFPTUniversityHCMC 2024 also hopes that through fresh but profound perspectives on achieving goals through small beginnings, it will not only resonate deeply in the minds of the audience but also inspire and assist in long-term steps in the future of each individual at the event in particular and millions of global viewers in general.

CYBER SECURITY EXPERT

Mr. Ngo Minh Hieu, also known as Hieu PC, is an expert in the field of information security and safety. He currently works at the National Cyber Security Surveillance Center (NSCS) and operates the ChongLuaDao project, which was founded at the end of 2020. This project has been successful in raising awareness and preventing over-the-air fraud in Vietnamese cyberspace. Due to his significant contributions, he is also known by the nickname "White Hat Hacker".
