Teaira Haynes is a Prague-based standup comedian living abroad as an English teacher. A Florida-native, Teaira moved to the Czech Republic to get away from the mosquitos, hurricane season and the clutches of the infamous Florida Man to pursue her dreams of life in places she'd only seen in the pages of her monthly subscription of National Geographic. However, she never dreamed she would pursue her passion for comedy. Starting in open mics and working her way to hosting her own shows, Teaira has performed in countries like Spain and Turkey, using her narrative style to share stories so ridiculous, you'd swear they weren't real. Still when life gives her lemons, she gives you laughs, even if it's at her own expense. She'll just go home and tell herself, "They were laughing with me, not at me."
