The TEDxAtlanta Salon series features a topical conversation-based format. Think resulting “offspring” when a Town Hall meets Speed Dating where a TED Talk is used to spark conversation on a single topic.

At this Salon, the featured TED Talk is, “What happens to gas stations when the world goes electric?” by Emily Grubert, formerly of Georgia Tech.

Format:
- The event kicks off with a communal viewing of a TED Talk.
- Attendees break-out into groups.
- The participatory segment begins with conversations facilitated by subject matter experts (SMEs) who flit from table to table offering fact-based perspective.
- A Recap/summary round by SMEs and attendees caps off the night.
- Summary takeaways are published on the TEDxAtlanta blog.

Registration is free but space is limited to 60. Please register only if you can attend.
