Anna Mullens

Communications Strategist & Storyteller
Anna Mullens is a distinguished communications strategist, writer, producer, and storyteller. Believing firmly in the power of stories and how they drive human progress. Her life work is founded in her approach to merge cutting edge communication knowledge with human motivation, courageous leadership and inclusivity, and personal growth. Educated by the University of Victoria and Royal Roads University, she holds an English Degree, a Master’s Degree in Professional Communications and multiple certifications in coaching and well-being. She brings a well-rounded expertise to her field of work. Anna has equipped hundreds of visionaries, leaders, and entrepreneurs worldwide with the skills to share their stories. This has led to exciting work opportunities with leading experts in well-being, such as Deepak Chopra and Jay Shetty. She resides in Victoria, BC with her husband and two daughters, continuing to inspire and lead change.

April Kuramoto

Environmental Educator
April works as a writer and storylistener, who previously served many families as a birth doula. With a Master’s Degree in Environmental Education, she has a love of nature and the stories held in places. Her research focus was an ecofeminist and decolonizing approach to gathering stories of women’s lived experiences. April’s interests include: culture, ceremony, books and plants. A mother and activist, she is passionate about holding equitable space for emergent conversations through a restorative justice praxis.

Carla Cuglietta

Educator, Facilitator, Speaker
Carla Cuglietta is an award-winning educator, facilitator, and keynote speaker focused on leadership development. She is Co-Founder of YoungLeaders.World, a global non-profit that has conducted leadership training with over 25,000 youth; and she is President of IN.FORM, a leadership development company that works across industry and all levels of government. In 2018-2019, Carla conducted an extensive 18-month global research project across 15 countries, focused on understanding the rapidly evolving world of work. Over the last 23 years her leadership and education projects have included work in Canada, China, India, Sierra Leone and Uganda.

Dapo Bankole

Canadian Leader in Immigrant Life Education
Dapo is an IT professional, writer, podcaster, and community builder who supports first-generation Canadian immigrants in integrating into the Canadian society. With over 23 years of IT expertise, he’s a master problem-solver in business analysis, project leadership, business process automation, and software product development. As the President of Mopheth Systems Corp., a black-owned tech enterprise in Calgary, Dapo drives innovation. Dapo’s impact extends to the boardroom, where he serves as a Director on the board of Momentum Community Economic Development Society and Windmill Microlending. Dapo’s boundless dedication and impressive track record make him a vital asset to his community, and he calls the vibrant city of Calgary home with his wife, Buki, and their three incredible boys.

Dr. Graeme Mitchell

Institute for Global Solutions
Graeme Mitchell is an innovative educator and researcher, recognized for his dedication to environmental and social change. Graeme co-founded the Institute for Global Solutions program and serves as an associate faculty member in the School of Education & Technology at Royal Roads University. In 2018, Mitchell earned his Doctorate of Social Sciences from RRU. His research, supported by a SSHRC Doctoral Fellowship, investigates how classroom interactions can motivate students to develop practical solutions aimed at creating a more resilient and equitable future.

Dr. Sarah Lea

Physician & Certified Executive Coach
Dr. Sarah Lea is a family physician and certified executive coach. Originally from Prince Edward Island, she completed her medical school training at Dalhousie University in 2010 after completing a Masters of Science in Community Health and Epidemiology. Part-time physician, part-time coach, and full-time mama of three beautiful boys and two fur babies, Sarah lives with her husband on Lekwungen territory spending her free time hiking, biking and generally enjoying the great outdoors.

Marcia Turner

Tsu’malit, CEO/Founder
Marcia Turner, Tsu’malit is Gitxsan and mother of four grown sons. She is the CEO/Founder of award-winning company Daxgedim Haanak’ Nation Building and works with a diverse range of Indigenous organizations, public agencies, non-profit organizations, governments, and post-secondary institutions in BC. Specializing in systems change, Marcia’s work is deeply rooted in ancestral values and Indigenous rights-based frameworks to equalize Indigenous knowledge systems and amplify Indigenous voices. She’s been invited by governments and various organizations to support Reconciliation strategies, created the Diploma in Indigenous Community Development and Governance, University of Victoria, and is the former Associate Vice-President Indigenous for Vancouver Island University. Marcia holds a Master’s Degree in Leadership, Royal Roads University, and Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, University of Victoria.

Sarah Crawford-Bohl

Healthcare Leader & Facilitator
Sarah Crawford-Bohl, BScN, MA Sarah Crawford-Bohl is an experienced healthcare leader with a career spanning over two decades in diverse clinical, educational, and leadership roles. Leveraging her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Victoria and a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University, she is passionate about courageous innovation, continuous improvement, and driving meaningful change. A dynamic speaker and facilitator, Sarah has enhanced her leadership skills through PROSCI’s Change Management certification and training from respected institutions including the University of British Columbia, GrowthDay, Huron Canada, and Roy Group. Residing on Vancouver Island with her husband, two daughters, and their Whoodle, she finds joy in lifelong learning and exploring the outdoors with her family and friends.

Zab Vilayil

Conflict Negotiator & School Administrator
Zab is an experienced Educator and Conflict Early Warning specialist. He is passionate about building bridges between communities, drawing insights from his upbringing in the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent. His innovative use of mapping technology in conflict zones spanned East to West Africa. His contributions have been instrumental in supporting organizations such as the U.S. Department of State, ECOWAS, and the United Nations, particularly in the realms of risk assessment and conflict transformation. He currently brings this experience to serve as Administrator of Community and Culture in a K-12 school in Lower Mainland, BC. Zab’s impactful initiatives have led to speaking engagements at venues such as the United Nations in New York and Google in Mountain View, California.
