Recently passing the Philippine Licensure Exam, he now practices as a General Practitioner in some clinics in Metro Manila. Presently, Jamil is a performer in a Sorsogon-based singing and dancing ensemble. Additionally, he has garnered titles in the pageant industry, advocating for youth causes and initiatives.
