TEDxUNCAsheville is an event in which students, faculty, and staff of UNC Asheville come together with citizens of Asheville (and the surrounding areas) to talk about amazing ideas, technology and life experiences in an enthusiastic and welcoming atmosphere! The event is limited to 100 individuals, and will feature students, alumni and faculty as speakers.

Kyle Cavagnini
Kyle Cavagnini is a junior at the University of North Carolina- Asheville. He majors in Biochemistry, with minors in Philosophy, Mathematics, and Neuroscience. Kyle's philosophical explorations have taken him across the Eastern United States for conference presentations, as well as a recent publication in Stance: An International Undergraduate Philosophy Journal. Kyle is involved in research in the UNC Asheville Chemistry and Biology departments, , where he works on theoretical aspects of organometallic bonding and polycystic kidney disease kidney disease. His experiences have lead him to develop ideas on the intersection of science, philosophy, and the narratives we live. -
