In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Andy Pornprinya

Andy Pornprinya is the senior managing director at UOB Thailand. His journey takes unexpected turns as he climbs his way up from working at a 7/11, to representing the Thai National bowling team and becoming one of the best stock brokers in Thailand. Andy discovered his passion for investing from a friend while struggling to do medicine at university. Over the next 30 years he would thrive in the world of stock markets.

Bhudit (Shin) Teerawuttiudom

Shin has been at Harrow Bangkok for 7 years and has nurtured a profound love for mathematics. He enjoys every moment he spends working on it and embraces the challenges and rewards of the subject. In his spare time, Shin represents Harrow on the Badminton team while also researching wide array of topics that pique his interest such as cartography, coding and reading, reflecting his curious nature.

Eaint Aunt Auw

Auw is an 18-year old who was born and raised in Myanmar. She has always been in touch with medicine as her childhood dream was to become a neurosurgeon. Seeing the healthcare system of her country after the coup fueled her burning passion for medicine. In her free time, she enjoys shadowing doctors at hospitals in Yangon or performing with the Harrow’s LOL dance crew.

Kornbongkoj (Baikaew) Thanbancha

Baikeaw practically grew up in her family’s hospital- Now 16, from dinner parties with doctors to learning patients’ stories in palliative care. This connectedness fissures her love for neuroscience, art, writing and singing with the National Orchestra. ‘Uplift,’ the charity group she started, reaches both less privileged children and our environment. She is intrigued by the interrelatedness between science and philosophy.

Swan Tayza Aung

Growing up in Burma, Swan would regularly observe his father fix desktop hard disks with fascination. Now he often takes apart fans and computers for fun whilst also fixing them when they break down. He is deeply passionate about the right to repair movement and how our understanding of our right to repair can protect individual liberties, positively impact the environment and benefit the economy as a whole.

Thanat-orn (Ranae) Boonnasitha

Ranae has been part of the Harrow community for nearly a decade and has a lifelong passion for singing. She believes that music is a unique form of personal expression for your emotions and building confidence from past experiences. Outside of music, she dedicates her time to researching Thailand’s financial and economic system, alongside her business enterprise.
